NY,  don't worry too much about the locker, Paragons got plenty of trails for that Kick of yours. You'll have a good time and yes, it will be nice to put some faces to people here.   :)

Hey man.  Been working long hours in New York Shitty and haven't been able to get home.  Top it off with a bad chest cold.

Got the springs and shocks right here.  You available Sunday?  This is Bob's long weekend, so we could do it that day if you could make it up.  Weather should be clear.

I don't think a 30" will be bad in low range, but you'll lose grunt going up hills in high.  But man, on flats and downhills you friggin fly.

I'll call ya later today.

So it looks like at a minimum (I have a Stock '02 ZR2) I need a mounted Fire Extinguisher and a towstrap with loops not hooks...

I'm running the stock all-season tires but they have plenty of meat left on them, so I assume they'll pass... They're the Good Year RT/S's.

Yeah that would be the minimum and the fire extinguisher is encouraged but not absolutely required.
I ran my XL-7 2 years ago bone stock with the original factory tires. It made it's way around the park pretty well. The only problem I had was a washout that has since been repaired. I slide off it and tore the front bumpercover off, smashing a factory driving lamp.  ;D

I do have some offroad experience... mostly trailblazing on logging roads and snowmobile trails during the summers...

So would you recommend I shoot for the Level 2?  I'm just afraid that Level 1 will be too tame for my tastes...

Blacknight, Yankee Tim, And Myself are guiding the Novice / Intermediate trails.  I think you will be surprised at some of the obsticals.  I would also advise you to try it out. We can always switch you up during the day.  We plan on taking more than dirt roads with these groups too. You'll be able to get into some smaller rock gardens, some water forging, and mud if you want, during the cooarse of the day.

Hi guys!  I'm brand new to these forums.  I see you all are a pretty tightly woven family over here.  This forum rocks!  I've taken my kick through forest trails that were only meant for 4 wheelers, and I've even burried it in a swamp once!  This gone zukin sounds cool as heck!  Count me in for the novice trail!

I got some questions though... How much does it cost- and will there be camping over night??

You can find all these answeres and more at http://www.gonzookin.com

Also there is no age limit on passengers, but they must all be buckled in according to PA laws.

There is one CB model from Cobra/Texas Ranger that can fit the that slot in your dash, if the dash is like the GV.

Sorry to keep interjecting the STOOPID questions here, but...

I will be running my stock 2002 ZR-2 (probably with the stock tires), and will get a 20,000 lb towstrap (for my 3,000 lb vehicle?) with loops not hooks as per the instructions...

Additionally I saw something about an air pump... I assume this is so I can deflate and then re-inflate my tires.  Any ideas on a good inexpensive one (like one that plugs into the lighter-socket or something)?

There's a gas station just down the highway a bit w/ a quarter operated pump. That's about it.  There's been talk about the park putting in some hoses for washing down before leaving but I'm not sure about air.  I know people have been wanting air at the park, but it hasn't happened yet to my knowledge.

I'd almost rather use those instead of my CB.  The stinkin thing is older than I am and well, it just doesn't wanna work sometimes.  Also, I figured out a way to rig the GMRS radio to my seat belt using a small nylon strap and a safety pin!  Can we say "shoulder mic!"  :)
