Title: vitara strut cone
Post by: standog on February 23, 2004, 12:30:47 PM
I have been reading about people flipping ther strut cones for more droop after putting coil spacers on. Has anyone done this on a new vitara? I have put the spacers on and would like to try and flip the cones but am not shure what all is involved and how hard it is.

Thanks..

Don't know anyone who's done it with the new, but a mate may do it to his 2003 model shortly... no factory warranty after the calmini front goes in im sure.

on my 1988 it was:

1) Remove

2) Grind the studs off and push out, or drill through where they were.

3) Turn upside down.

4) Put bolts through. and reassemble.
