Looking for way's to mount the old shooting iron. I'm finding it hard to have something ready when the old coyote shows his nasty hide or that crow starts laughing at me as I drive by. It was a lot easier in a full size truck. I have downgraded to a small T/C contender carbine - but banging around between the seats hitting the shifters is driving me nuts .... Mac0

hhmmmmmm, mount a tripod on yer side view mirror, so u just have to shoot the dam things when they get annoying! :D
but no seriously that is a hard one :-/
-
my idea would be to unscrew the passenger hold bar, and make rifle holder that holds your rifle upright with the but on the floor.
-
Thanks for the reply's -- I did think about an upright mount that you are talking about . Kind of like one you see in the cop cars. But that would be the problem --- cops -- it would be to obvious from the outside. Not that it is legal in this state -- I'm just the type that likes to "Blend in" so to speak. I was thinking of some kind of mount over my head . I had one in a Toyota over the visors that worked great. But that setup is out in this little thing.
"Rear Veiw Mirrors" !!!!! Oh - you mean that built in rifle rest !!!!!!!!!!!!! ::)
-
yah so u can just swivel the gun where u wanna shoot and then shoot with one hand while yer drivin ;););)

Normal set up is a 20ga. 870 in the back in a case -- a 17cal. Hornet T/C contender carbine in the front ( Banging around !! ) -- and a 357 in the glove box -- Not only country boy's like there toy's --
It's American ----------------------

An armed man is a Citizen, an un-armed man is a Subject.
Colt ..... The Origional Point and Ckick Interface ;)
You won't get into trouble if the rifle/pistol is in plain
view, but under the seat is a Fellony here, and you loose
your guns, get your car impounded, and get to see
the wrong side of a jail cell, as well as the Judge :P
keep them in plain view, cause I don't got the
money to bail your butt out of County Lockup.

Like I said -- I'm from Chicago !!!
It is illegal to even have one now back there. Freaking commies -- It's now the murder capital of the country ..
After the service I made sure I was in a more free - citizen friendly State - Now I have a 357 in my belt - "Under my coat" legally ...
Some would say I'm "paranoid" ----- I say that I just like to live in "reality" -- from the beginning of time there has been bad people in this world -- and they will be here when it's over !!!!

Funny statistic, Arizona allows it's citizens
to carry a loaded consealed weapon, and
the robbery rate, murder rate, car jacking rate
home burglery rates all went down, funny
how that works, but shhh don't tell the
Democrats, they want to keep us all in
poverty, give away our tax $$ and hand
out what they think we need >:( >:(

OK -- OK -- Back to the Samurai's guy's --- where starting to use bad language ----
---- "Democrat" ---- yikes - my virgin ears ...

Quote from Diane Finestien (Cal. Senator)
"if you shoot a deer with an assault rifle,
there is no meat left"
in a statement against the ownership and
reasons to have "Assault Rifles"
I heard her say this with my own ears at a
press conference, man did I boil about it.
