Title: cam belt replace when?

 ::)Vitara XEC LWB;
is replacement of cambelt dictated by mileage or time, and if so what is it pse.

I assume it's the rubber sort?

70,000 miles is a good safe number.

They can last 100,000 +  but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Around here it all GM products and if you push it past 70k your on barrowed time.

(disclamer:  Anything can happen at anytime.  This is just an educated guess and nothing out of a manual  ;D )
