Title: High Idle

I'm buying an 87 Sammi, after 3 years without my first one.  Started the one I am looking at and the idle ran extremely high, and never came down (15-20 minutes).  It seemed like the choke was stuck, but never experienced that problem in my other 87.  

Any ideas?

Haggle over price about the idle,
then take it home and turn it down

Thanks!  I'll give it a shot.  I already talked him down from $1000 to $750 because of the idle and bad plugs and wires.

I think it's a pretty good deal.   ;)

now why can't i find deals like these around where i live ???

sometimes i hate living in the middle of nowhere... but it does make for convenient offroading. :)
