Title: Headlight Help
Post by: obbm on January 18, 2004, 01:09:39 PM
Hi, I am new to this board.  I just bought a 2003 Grand Viotara after my 2001 Vitara was T-boned by a woman who ran a red light.  Totaled her car and she went to the hospital in an ambulance, the Zuki and I drove away.  A tough car.  My question:  I had to change the towing bracket from the old car to the new one, so I could tow it behing my motor home.  This necessitated removing the headlamps.  After reassembling, the headlights are out of aim. Can anyone tell me exactly where the adjusting screws are?  There is a hex head screw under the little diagram on the top of the headlight for the vertical aim, but I can't find one for the horizontal aim.  Thanks,

Bill

on my sidekick the adjuster is at the top of the
light next to the grill opening, and it takes a reg
phillips screwdriver, now on the GV it might be changed.

Wildgoody, thanks for your reply,  I am working on it and have improved the aim.  I think the GV is different.  The headlight patterns are different between the left and right side, maybe the funny looking one has a defective bulb.  I have had headlamps out before and was very careful with them.

Thanks, Bill
