HI I HAVE A 1990 SIDEKICK WITH A 6'' LIFT.  WHAT IS THE OFFSET ON A 8'' WHEEL. AND THE TIRE NOT RUB THE FRAME. IM TRYING NOT TO HAVE TIRE'S STICK OUT TO FAR FROM THE FINDER. THE TIRE IS A 31X10.50X15....THANKS LES

Just put those on the stock rims,
you could go with a 2.75" backspace
on an 8" rim but they will stick out.
I got the 2.5" backspace and the 33 swampers,
they stick out about 3" but the local cops don't
seem to care, that or I'm not a big offender
in comparison to some of the big trucks that have
lots more rubber sticking out.

HOW WILL A SET OF 31'' DO ON THE STOCK WHEEL. WILL IT RUB THE FRAME. THANKS FOR THE REPLIE...LES

Ya it will rub at full turn, adjust the turn stops
and it will only do it at mega compression.
When I ran 235s they could rub at full lock.
My 33s rub at full lock, I mean it's a big tire
and those knobbs sticking out catch the frame
a little, but hey I get lots of looks and it's not a
daily problem, just every now and then.

Hey Wild, are you going to the TDS safari :D?
-
Ya Buddy, it will be my 3rd year running,
I love watching all those heeps and cruzing
up the hills as they stare in dis-beleif ;D

I run 33x12.50 on 8" rims with 3" backspace. The rear tires dont rub when flexed but my front will rub the frame when flexed and turning. You can set your steering stops to minimize that. The tires stick out about 2" and I dont get hassled by the cops.
Later,
Bill

I also run a 3" bs wheel with no interference. I just had to persuade the wheel wells a little.
