Title: FRONT LOCKING HUB. HOW DO THAY WORK

HI I JUST GOT A 90 SIDEKICK.. I SWITCH THE HUB'S TO FREE.  AND POP THE CLUCH AND THE FRONT WHEELS SPIN.. IS THIS THE WAY THAY WORK...THANKS ..LES

only if they are broken and or stuck! try backing up first after you unlock them 8)

thay will not free up. is it a big deal to fix....thanks les

no just six bolts and maybe a c clip you might need some snap ring pliers other than that real easy to figure out once you are in there, just one sliding part and a spring, check the bushing(or bearing)to make sure it is tight and no slop in it grease it with some light grease after cleaning it but don't put too much of it on and torque it back down to specification and your done.
