Anyone have a Mile Marker wench? And do you like it?
I have a chance to get either a wench or new soft top for my sammi, Birth day comming soon. ;D
What ever shall I choose?? ;)

Would you rather drive home with a bad top or walk home with a good one and hope it is there when ya get back! p.s. the government uses Warn and Mile marker. the m.m. knock off is sold by harbor frieght for about half price , check on line to see if on sale. was about 270.00 with every thing. some times alot cheaper.

Is the wench good looking? Who needs a top when you have a nice looking wench in the passenger seat to show off?
I don't have a wench myself (single at the moment) Though that may be the reason im single, cuz I call them wenches :P ;)
Ok im an ass. Sorry bro I couldn't resist.

Well my wench, err.. I mean wife is not strong enuff to pull my toy outt the mud :D
Was just wondering if anyone had ever used a Mile Marker and did/do they like it? dependable?

I had a mile marker 10,500 hydraulic winch on my old dodge, it could pull for days. They just dont have as fast as line speed as the warns. but mile marker is now making a electric one and tye are pretty cheap as well.
Thy hraulic dont over heat like the electics though, they run off your power steering. I pulled my buddies heep 10-15yrds up a pretty steep hill no prob

You get what you pay for.
I've bought a lot of stuff from Harbor Freight. I know it's cheaper stuff and treat it that way. The things are rougher, slower and need a little more care. But if your not a heavey user, you can make their stuff last a while.
I feel the same way about M.M. wInches. Their slow and less forgiving. But if you get a say 8000lbs winch (almost more than twice the capicity you need). Also be extra careful to keep it clean like when you somers it under water/mud. Afterward run it and make sure it's cleaned out.
I knew a guy with a 12000lb MM winch on a jeep and had no problems with it. He now has a monster Warn now. Something like 15,000lb or 18,000lb? It's a big jeep and he got a realy good deal on a slightly used one.
Good luck and let us know the decision.

Where did you get the bumper? It looks like a Calimini with light protectors.
I've got a busted head light right now. It would have been nice to have something like that.
