Turns out that the head on my 89sidekick is not blown it is just the head gasket. so that bieng know, is it worth swaping the motor or should I just replace the gasket?
Is there that big of a diffrence from the 16V to the 8V in milage and power?

I'd just replace the gasket and be done!!
But, thats just me....lol

that is what i am thinking i mean how much power is it going to gain me? and then I will just do bearings in the tranny of the 95 and sell it for low blue book, then i can get a new front end for the Sub "it is running with no front axels in ATM,
so it is a 2wd that looks like a 4WD lol its GIMP, but it looks PIMP. man i have got to get some pics up. .

The 16v's have about 16 more HP.
I love mine but I think it would be a lot of work to trade a good 8v for a 16v when all the 8v needs is a head gasket. I say fix it and have fun!

I'd just replace the head gasket. 8v is pretty simple.
