Good afternoon all. Have read many posts/forums/write-up concerning using Vitara springs to achieve a budget lift. I have yet to read anything covering the ZR2 springs. I bought a set of ZR2 springs at the junkyard several months, and have been sitting on a shelf for a while now. Short of finding time to test fit them, has anybody actually done this swap with positive results, maybe eeking out a couple inches? I either use these springs (if they give a decent lift) or wait until I get my old house sold and spring for a nice lift package from say....AE. I assumed the ZR2's came with V6's, but I think I'm wrong about this. For reference I have a 1996 4 door.

Just in case anybody is wondering, The rear ZR2 springs are indeed longer, but taper too much to fit at the top. So long story short, they do not fit. Didn't take the time to test fit the fronts.

What are the known lift springs for a 4dr lwb sidekick?
Newer vitara front springs and accord rear springs?
What's some other junkyard spring options?
I wish I could find someone lifting a newer 2000 model so I could score the oem springs for a deal

The front springs from the ZR2 do fit my 96, and they are 1 coil taller (about 2" taller) sitting side by side. Test fitted them this past weekend before putting my OME spring and struts on.

Sent you a PM about coil springs.
