My fuel sending unit and fuel gauge hasn't been working properly so I dropped the tank to re-bent/clean the fuel sending unit. I ohm tested and everything seemed fine; put it back in and my fuel gauge wasn't registering. So I dropped again, took the unit out and ran a ground wire to a chassis bolt, plugged it in and saw the fuel gauge was working properly on th dash. I figured it was a grounding issue so I put the unit back in and ran a ground wire from the top screw to the gas tank skid plate bolt, and the fuel gauge doesn't work. I am perplexed and frustrated to say the least. Any ideas?
