Title: What's in my engine bay?

What's this? Also is it next to my abs pump? I'd like to delete all the things that are unnecessary under the bonnet. But first I have to identify each part. Any help would be appreciated

That looks like the "charcoal canister" - part of the emission control system - not strictly necessary, but it's missing you'll probably get a CEL depending on the year of your vehicle.

I want to take them both out clean it up and simplify the engine bay. I heard you can tune these 1995 ecus too

Also does anyone know if the samurai part #16 is interchangeable with the sidekick? I cant find a sidekick specific coolant outlet pipe. Mine looks crusty and I'd like to just replace it while its apart.

The solenoid next to the canister is most likely the canister purge valve, and no, as far as I know the ECUs cannot be reprogrammed or "tuned".
