Title: Gas Tank Inlet Valve
Post by: RJkick on November 07, 2019, 06:42:25 PM
I have a 1992 4dr JLX.  The Gas Tank was repaired and they lost the Gas Tank Inlet Valve.  They had the Tank for 2 months and I can't remember something
Does the Inlet Valve have a plastic ball in it?  It seems when I go uphill Gas is leaking out of the tank and hose connection.  Never use The Radiator Man shop

I can't even find anywhere to buy one used or new

That certainly should not be happening, where is it leaking fuel out of?

You can see the fuel system configuration over on the FSM for the Vitara (European Sidekick/Tracker) on Rhinoman's website on page 335:

I put on a longer hose since I have a 3" body lift.  Hopefully I'm good to go now
