Hey guys, I got some new led headlights for my 88 sami that were said to be plug and play but once i got them plugged in they would not work. I've seen other sami's with the same headlights and was wondering if there is a pigtail needed to get them to work?

Remember we have to work with what you tell us - judging from the picture, what you have is not just new headlights, but LED headlights and that is where your problem lies - LED headlights are "polarity sensitive" - you need either lights designed to work with a negative switched wiring system - now go back to your supplier and ask them if they do a harness for the lights you bought to work with a negative switched system.

I just replaced a 2004 Ford Econoline Van and found M4Products to be very helpful. I don't know if they would have anything you need but they are very knowledgeable on LED's period and are happy to talk to everyone

Thank you, i did some research on them and turns out the headlights were falsely advertised. I found a conversion harness on low range offroad that looks as though it will fix the problem.
