Title: Where can I find find one inch fender flares for our Tracker?
Post by: RalphARoni on January 12, 2020, 02:11:53 PM
Our 96 2dr is basically unmodified but the tires are a couple of inches wider than the original and stick out a bit less than an inch. Sometimes I want mud and it has to get on the roof even but in day to day riding  I dont. I saw these $30 foam self stick ones but they look crappy and easy to tear. Nothing else I can find looks like it would match up. Has anyone found any? I'll use 3m tape to hold them on if I find any.

Low Range Off-Road has a set you may want to look at.

Pricey but possible the best option.

Look serious! I have to see if they make it in a one or perhaps 2" option. I might want to put them on with em foam tape to avoid making holes though. I'll do some checking.

They also offer this style (http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/flexy-flares-side-mount-rubber-fender-extensions-2-25-wide-and-4-25-wide-by-the-foot.html) in a 2.25" size.

I used a set of 3" JC Witney flares.  Drill and rivet every 4 inches, works pretty well.  If I had the time I would take off the inner plastic liner and weld a 1" lip on the inside of the fender well to give a bit more purchase.

This looks like it would suit me fine. I would put them on with the 3m tape that holds the solar on our RV so no holes. I looked on JC Whitney and could not find them. I am sure I will pass a JC Whitney  sometimes in my travels though and if I can find them. Thanks

They may not sell them anymore, it's been quite a few years since I bought any and I usually picked up a box from a swap meet.  :D

It does look just like a generic kit from Amazon.
