Title: 98 chevy tracker jerks while driving and dies in neutral ocasionally

just got this 98 tracker and am not familiar with the 16 valve. while driving it jerks like its misfiring and dies at stop lights when you push the clutch in only sometimes. you have to either floor it or completely let off the gas to keep it from jerking. the only code that pops up is for the egr flow. any pointers and tips help please. thanks in advance

I would suggest you start with the diagnosis the EFI system is giving you - the EGR or Exhaust Gas Recirculation system is the most likely cause of the symptoms you're experiencing - clean/replace the valve and the EGR related passages in the head and manifolds.
