Title: 1982 sj410 question from a newbie

Hello all,

Newbie member here and have a quick question that I'd like someone to chime in on.  Looking at purchasing a 1982 Suzuki SJ 410 from a buddy that is going through some tough times financially and want to treat him fairly in regards to purchase price.  As I am totally new to the Suzuki world, just wondering what the value is on it.  It runs, drives and stops.  It's not full of rust but it's not mint either.  Has a cold start/idle issue but runs well after warmed up.  Thinking of buying it to help him out with some $$$ but also as a bit of a project for me and my two sons.  Want to give him fair money for it but don't want to get hosed either.  What's it worth??

Should also add that it’s pretty much stock, aftermarket wheels and tires, original 1.0 L as far as I know. I am in Alberta, Canada.
