Title: Samurai Body length to fit in toy hauler
Post by: Cheese_ee on June 11, 2020, 03:59:44 PM
Hello!

I am looking into getting a Samurai and am trying to figure out if it will fit in my toy hauler. Weight wise I am ok, I have over 3K Lbs of cargo carrying capacity. The length seems like it is the only issue.

The dimensions I can find on the internet says that they are 135" overall, that includes bumpers and rear spare tire. I am trying to figure out if I remove the spare tire and remove the bumpers (and fab some custom ones) it will fit. I would probably install some flush mount taillights instead of the bumper lights. The length I can accomodate is 126", Ideally around 124-125" to leave room for movement.

Does anyone have measurements of just the body, without the spare tire, and without or not including the bumpers?

Thank you!

Fits easily in a 6x12 bed... not sure I'd go much smaller, as you will have trouble tying it down.
