I've never heard of a 7.5 " wide wheel. Are these aftermarket? The difference would be so slight I doubt if you would notice anything if the backspacing is the same.

If the hub hole is smaller, it sounds like the bolt pattern might be smaller too....

I was just looking at a local 70's Bronco racer for sale, caged, no interior, sprint-style wing for a roof, etc... Anyway, it had 4 wagon wheels on it; 3 15x7.5 with small holes and one 15x8 with large hole.... what a coincidence! LOL!!!

My wheels came off a '79 Bronco. The later model Ford's have the same bolt pattern but the hub hole is too small. :-/

lada niva rims have smaller hub holes I think... wanted to throw some 5 spoke niva wheels on my friends sami but the hub holes to small!! same bolt pattern though..... my sami's sitting on stock16x7 mid 60's mercury truck rims... but what I really need is stock willys jeep 16's ( narrower and better backspacing )... but thats a different story all together

If your looking for narrow 16 inch rims you might want to check out 60's era Scouts.  Scouts are 4 wheel drums though so there might be a problem with clearing the disk breaks.  I think I have 5 or 6 of them.
