Post by: 1bigtracker on December 29, 2003, 04:42:47 PM
I was just wandering how everyone found this great site.  I was sent here by Mr.Hagen after sending him an e-mail about his tracker.  I guess i have him to thank.  lata stu

I am looking for a sammi, and just put in a search on sammaris and this is one of the sites that popped up, the rest is history. Still looking for a sammi though. Any suggestions on the best year?
Later, mudman

Google search for a Tracker site and this is the only one that came up. Hmmm sounds like a good parts market but I have found that the ones that advertise here are about the only companies left.

I had found Zukiworld a while ago through some surch engine.  Don't know how long Eric's had it going but I it seems like it's been a while.

I met Eric this summer and knew he was doing an artical about his SAS.  So one day I went looking for it and found it and this board!

You know, I was really happy with my Tracker untill I've found this board.  Now I have so many new ideas that I don't know where to begin??  Ok I don't know where to stop???

Put in a search for Suzuki Vitara and it was one of the matches. This is by far the best most friendly board I have been a part of. I quit going to the largest board in the world for my toyota due to the attitude and rudeness of the people on it.

Thanks for a great site.

4wheel parts set me to CALMINI. CALMINI linked me to ZUKIWORLD article on thier 6"lift. Haven't the need to look anywhere else.  How old is ZUKIWORLD? should have a B-day Party.

I was on the Calmini customer appreciaton run in the Rubicon in 2000. I met Eric there. I soon bought a computer and got plugged in. Zukiworld was one of the first sites I started frequenting. Before Zukiworld BBS I was on the Yahoo Sidekick and Tracker board. I stopped going there after this board started up. No need to. This board rocks.

I linked here from Calmini's site as I was looking for Tracker upgrades. As mentioned by numerous others its a great site, very friendly and knowledge is freely transfered.

I meet this Guy in Death Valley who was pulling a 4x4 off of a trailer with only one ramp and I thought to my self this poor guy can only afford one ramp and half of a Jeep so I asked him whats up with the one ramp and he told me that if you get one half of the rig going on the ramp the other half will follow, I think he must of owned a horse at one time!   Don't worry Eric I won't mention your Name.

I had done all the mods to my kick I
could think of, and was looking for some
more trick stuff I could do that had allready
been done, see my kick is a Daily Driver and
I don't want it down for weeks at a time while
I hammer out details to fix what I just messed
up, so I was searching when I found this site,
and izook and pirate.
(bunch of flamers and flipoffs there).

Mike, who is probably one of the formost "Track/Kick Thinkers"
of our day has been a big inspiration to the continuing
evolution of my SideKick, and now I have started to
think out of the box, as it is, and look at more changes
to make Zookie wheeling more fun.

I never looked at the needs of you other zukie owners, as
I have never broken an axle or a CV or a Idler Arm, I lead
a boring offroad life I guess, but now as I hear of the woes
and tales of broken parts, I have put more thought into beefing
the weak links.

Improving the lives of fellow wheelers is fun for me, as I think
about new ways to polish my IFS turd (pirate talk for the IFS system)
and make the best of what I got, hell I was lifting my zook before
Cal-Mini had kits, I called them for springs, they had none, all they
had then was lowering kits for Toyota trucks, yes offroad bretheren
that is where they got there start, not in that lifted SAS Kick you see,
but with slammed Toys. (I'm a long winded SOB too  ;D)

Thanks Eric for this Rockin Site, it takes dedication to keep it running
and we all owe you a debt of gratitude to say the least, Hats off to you.
And thank you Mike for the great articles and Mods.

I had a 3/4 ton pickup and was looking for a new 4x4 that i could afford to drive, so I was looking at a Sami. Some how I came across this site and started reading the fourum to get some info. Month later bought my Kick and have been hooked ever since. Now I can afford to go wheelin, but am broke because I keep wanting to upgrade stuff, go figure. 2 months or so ago I was just a normal college kid, now I am a college kid with a serious ZUKI problem.
My names Jacob and I too have Zukiholism.

Have a great New Years ;D ;D ;D ;D

Keep meaning to post on this thread.

I found Zukiworld via a search some time ago but that was before the BBS was working,  was lurking around on POR and saw a link to here and decided to stay here since POR's suzuki section is 90% Sammy related stuff and Zukiworld seems to be more Kick/Tracker oriented.  Less flaming too over here although POR's "character" can be entertaining at times.
