BUILD A SAMMY FOR HAULIN ASS THROUGH MUD AND OVER OBSTACLES. THEN NEAR VERTICAL WINCHING AND STUFF ......
WHAT SUSPENSION SET UP WOULD YOU USE ???
-
IFS and Coils ;D

Hmmm.... This is tough since I hate getting dirty!  ;D So I guess SPOA with Yota or Dana Axles with 37's or 38's Wrangler Springs. Would be the simple way to go to cover the veriety of terrain you are trying to cover.
Of coarse this is just my opinion. ;D
IFS is for Trak/Kickers who like to change axles. ;D ;D ;D

COILS and lots of Vertual lift (i.e. open up the wheelwells) Coils bring in a great dynamic to the ride including more control. The modified fenders will allow you to run a larger tire with less lift, Hence a lower center of Gravity. The other mods I would highly recomend is a very good roll cage and stronger running gear.
LOL ;D
If you Build it, TAKE PICTURES!!!

I was kidding about the IFS
Coils are the hot flex ticket tho

Coils, and I'd lengthen the wb a bit for stability.

I know I was just joking too. LOL
If Mud is the main concern why spend all the money on coils when you can get alot of flex out of leaves?
I know Coils are nice and flex awesome but for mud?

to give you my experience, lol .
My kick has loose springs lots of travel on a set of 33.12.50s IFS,
I have front and rear lockers and 4:24 low box.
climbing this hill

THis hill was steep and I bonced all the way up. a standard range rover stock suspension made it look easy, The range rover was stuck later in the mud which i had no problems with,
What im trying to say is to account for every type of trail is differcult and I think i would have done a lot better if i had some harder shocks.
I am now tempted to order adjustable shocks for this type of hill climbs so i can stiffen them up when doing steep hill climbs.
take it all leave it :P ::) ;D
