Title: Weber carb on samurai,1.3 question
Post by: dishearted on January 17, 2022, 10:19:47 AM
I ordered a tune up kit for my weber carburetor on my samurai 1.3 engine and the main gasket does not fit properly ( its slightly to big)maybe I ordered the wrong thing or got bad kit  (it's a redline brand) Is there any difference in the gaskets?for a 32/36 DGAV which is what I ordered and a 32/36 DFAV is what the number on my carb is? Looks like to me there basically the same?..
Or should I just order new oem type carb and not fool with the weber.?

I do not know specifically on Weber carbs, but typically when ordering a carb kit, it needs to be for the exact carb you are using.  Was there not a kit available for the DFAV you have?

Can I just order a Weber type clone and install it or will I have to jet it myself, maybe use the jets out of my old carb? I want to get this thing going ASAP!
