I am looking for an exhaust manifold for a 93 Sidekick with the 16 valve engine. All the salvage yards want to know if it is a 2 door or 4, is it federal emission or California emission. Does anybody know for sure if there is any difference between these?

I think one is a single down pipe and the other one is a dual down pipe.

If it's a 93 it should be a 4 door only, as for the california/federal emissions, you may need to look that up by the VIN, any dealership should be able to check that for you though or try something like carfax.com, they used to have a free mini VIN report that probably will tell you if it's a california vehicle at least.

They are not looking up 16valve only. They are looking up 93 and finding a differece between the 2 and 4 doors. Heres the difference, 2 door has a 8 valve motor and 4 door has a 16 valve. Otherwise I belive all 16 valve exhaust manifolds are the same.
