Title: 2001 GV with no high beams

 I did not find this one in a search.

2001 GV, 285k on the clock, new timing stuff at 185k, 2.5" magnaflow catback, 29 inch snow tires, with strange (to me) problem.  Been mine 20+ years.

WHen I initiate bright flash by pulling on stalk, all good.  BUT with push forward, it defaults to ADL's, with no high beams or lows.  Driving my canyon hard at night with just low beams

Ideas?

What are ADL's?

The problem is most likely the combination switch, and after that wiring - maybe find a good auto-electrician
