Title: 1983 sj410 rear wheel studs
Post by: ontario410 on August 26, 2025, 08:12:52 AM
I found that the previous owner had wedged a carriage bolt in the axle shaft hole to replace a broken stud. I took a stud to the local auto parts store and they have no idea what size it is or where to get it. They keep telling me in imperial but I'm pretty sure it's metric. Any idea of a brand or part number for new studs?  Thanks

It's a metric stud, and whilst I don't have the size, it's the same part number (#09119-12003) as used on the Samurai (SJ413) and if all else fails, available from megazip.net.

Beauty . Thanks.

The parts lady was adamant they were Imperial haha. I told her I didn't think so

I found some studs from Dorman that should work according to specs . I will pick them up today and post the part number if they do.
