I run 22-24 on road and 8-10 off road in my 33x12.50 BFG MT's. I would think you could run comparable pressures in 30's.

why dont you run at the recomened pressure? is it better for the tires to run at lower pressure?

I've got 235x75x15 BFG MT's on order - are you pleased with the fit?  What susp mods are you running?

The reccomended tire pressure shown on the tire is a maximum pressure for the load-range of the tire. For example if the load range is 2000 pounds a tire that is 8000# for all 4 tires at maximum pressure. Your vehicle weighs 2500-3000 pounds, therefore you do not need to run at the maximum reccomended tire pressure.

If you run a tire  onroad with too low a pressure, then your tire will begin to wear more on the outer tread.

Same goes for too much pressure, the tire will wear faster on the inner tread.

I'm running 30x9.5s at 15PSI it's too low, I would say 19-20

Chris i have the rocky road 2" body and 2.5"suspension lift on my sidekick, with no rubbing at full articulation.I do get the front tyres touchung slightly when turning sharply ,but that will be sorted once ive installed some wheel spacers..

I just got new rims and tires and there seems like a viberation in the wheel but I don't think its the balance because it only happens on certian roads not speeds. I have 225/75/15 on my 03 Vitara. the stock tire pressure was 26 should I run that or the 35 the tire says?
