Title: Twin webbers
Post by: Rhinoman on December 08, 2003, 11:14:45 PM
Has anyone got any pics of the twin sidedraught Weber set up in a Track/Kick. I was thinking of using the manifold with a couple of the twin injector bodies but am concerned about clearance as I have the brake servo and steering shaft on that side.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for but I think it will give you enough information to figure out if it'll work.

I have the same engine from Reynolds and the dual sidedrafts. I went back to stock carb for now due to the poor performance of the carbs. I wasn't able to get them to idle down and they would dump so much fuel it would flow out the velocity stacks. At the time I didn't have time to play and tune them so I threw the stocker back on. Do you have any suggestions to try when I put them back on. I did check float level. The floats are the plastic style not brass. I was running at 3psi of fuel. I was thinking of getting new needles and seats and floats too.
Let me know what you think.

Please read this article, it may help with your carbs...

If that doesn't work for you, I'd be interested in buying your setup...

That's where the breather comes in from the valve cover. I didn't want a oily gooey engine compartment.

I don't understand your question. Those two tubes go from the breather hole in the top of the valve cover to the inside of the filter area going into the carbs.
