hey all,
swampers so many to choose from. i have it narrowed down to two so i thought i might get some feedback on them if you know how well they perform etc. alright its between the 33 13.50 LTB or 31" i like the lugs on that sucker and the 32 11.50 SX i have seen these on the trail and they fling chunks of mud the size of softballs. hehe. thanks :)

Those are both Bias ply. If you want to drive on the street they will rob a lot of the few ponys you have. I would recomend a radial. The Swamper SSR is what I would recomend but if your going to drive on the street a lot go with the 32 1050 15 Swamper radial (plain, not SSR). For some reason that tire rolls really nice down the freeway and it has the older more agressive pattern than the other radials. I know several people who run these. But if you more concerned with off road the SSR has an almost indestructable sidewall.

I ran that 32x11.5 SX tire for about 15,000 miles on my red Samurai. It is a good all around tire, that actually measured 30.5 inches on an 8" wheel, and drives OK on the street. Defintely quieter with better performance than standard swampers.
FWIW: Eventhough there is only a 1 inch stated difference in the two tires, I'd be willing to bet that there actual sizes vary almost 3 inches!
Good Luck, -Eric

I run 33x12.50-15 TSL Radials and like em alot!
They clean out well in mud and has good grip on the rocks.

I will be running some 31in BFGs for street tires cuz the 34/9.50R15 swampers are too big to use on the street.  but they are pretty good on the road as long as you know your driving a tracker, not an indy car. plus i just think the swampers look too big on my little trucklet.  lata stu
