Title: Back Spaced Wheels
Post by: van7559 on December 07, 2003, 02:20:56 PM
Hey I have 95 lsi 2dr. with 235/75/r15 I was looking at the 2.25" back spaced wheels on Wheeler's off road site. The black Rock Crawler ones, and i was wondering if i used these would my wheel bearings be giving out all the time, and would my suspension droop any more. I plan on buying new tires either 30-9.5 goodyear mtr or 30-9.5 bfg muds.  Do i even need backspaced wheels? Should i stay with the size i got or go ahead and get the 30's. muds, or mtr's? help me i have money and its burning a hole in my pokect!

2.5s will cause a little more droop on the front
don't get 10" wide 8" is fine, I got 33s on 8"
Rockcrawlers, and they are fine.

I got 30x9.5s on stock rims, these are my street tires,
(I just had 31x10s on these but they were turning to slicks)
if you get rims, put some 32" mud tires on those.

Now you swap street tires for offroad tires to save your
good rubber for the dirt.  ;)
