Post by: r0ckstarr79 on November 25, 2003, 02:50:24 PM
Ive seen them in pics. I was wondering who sells the swing away spare tire carriers? And, is there one on the market that can hold 2 spares? Also, about how much do they cost? Thanks for the info!

I know Calmini  sells one.

I've seen a few homebrewed ones in the community too.  Heather's is the first to come to mind.

I think if you wanted a double carrier you would have to custome fabricate it.

Are you looking for a sami or kick tire carrier? Im running the Calmini one. I can say that its extremely durable. Unlike their website says it does fit a 35 inch tire nicely.

Samurai. In 6 months or so, I had planned on driving out to Kansas from Texas, and I wanted to carry two spares with me just in case......

I think that you could be over packing with two spares. Odds are you wont even need one if you have decent tires. I run a full size spare but I rarely need it. Usually once every other year but when I do its priceless.
