Title: CROSSMEMBER ?????

i have a 89 kick and i was woundering if the crossmember was the same on automatics and sticks on the 4x4? i found one for 5$ +sipping .off a 90 its auto mine is stick.

I don't know the answer, but for $5, you won't really know until your pruchase and try it out.

Only thing that wouldn't work would probably be the tranny bolt holes.
There is only one place for the tranny crossmember on the frame. There are no additional holes in the frame and the mounts for anything but one crossmember. Now the difference between an auto to manual trans, may be the mounting holes in that crossmember, or a totally different crossmember (layout). They both bolt in the same location on the frame.
In anything, go to a large mall parking lot. Drive around till you find what you are looking for. Crawl underneath and take a couple of pics. Then compare this to yours. Simple enough and no one gets hurt hopefully.

I can do that comparison...I have a 5spd Sunrunner sitting beside an auto Tracker in my driveway right now...I'll take some measurements and let you know if there are any differences.
