Title: Yellow Kick at Moab
Post by: ZeusZuki on May 04, 2005, 02:47:06 PM
Anybody out there know much about that Yellow Sidekick in the ZukiWorld Jeep jamboree feature?
Looks like it runs some BIG rubber for an IFS rig. Any way, any details would be appreciated.
ZeusZuki.

Figures. Mike builds some great rigs. You know any of the spec's? I am at work so replies are slow - between jobs ( I live in New Zealand so it is 3pm over here ). I thought i saw a pic of it with a broken axle at Moab? Rear end doesn't look standard either?

Really, what sort of Donk is he running? Were you the poor person who ended up in one wheel drive?

Oh I'm sure they knew what they were missing.
Late night, broken vehicles, worried-stressful drivers, lots of finger crossing.  OH and some great camaraderie!

I'll agree it was a great time. never thought the kick could do stuff like that. break downs are a great challenge for a group to over come, but when you can make it a fun &  challenging event its event better . Moab was an awsome exp.   hopefully be back next year!     stan

My kick has a custom built 9" front with modified toy van spindles.tons of other front mods, the rear is a shoe box bronco. they both have 6.50 gears. motor is a stock 16 valve. also has 4.23 transfer case.    hope that answers some ??'s    Stan

Thanks Stan, that is an awesome rig you have there. I look forward to seeing it in future event coverage.
Mean while I will keep working on ZeusZuki. Taking it out on its first run in a few weeks. It will be in running condition but still needs work - you know the story: they are never really finished.
Keep up the good work and hope to catch you at Moab next year.
