I'll take one for a daily driver, wonder where I can order one... I'd build one but all I specialize in is Zuki trucks. I bet it gets a better fuel mileage than my pantera.

I don't think so. It has over a  1000hp. All I know about it I learned from PS2 GT3. That baby can do well over 250mph up PikesPeak. But hey, thats what I've heard.

Believe it or not, its the GV with the 2.5L motor.  The Suzuki website says it has 900+ ponies.

Now what I can't figure is why the 2.5L in my GV is only 165 hp?   :o  You'd think it would be kicking at least a 1/4 of the race motor.  I see a  tubro from a STi 2.5L in my future. ;D

That is one of the most impressive speed machines ever built.

It is based on the Grand Vitara or Escudo as it is called in Japan.  It has 2 2.5L V6 engines, one in the front and a mid mounted engine.  I can't remember if its mounted behind the drivers seat or behind the rear axle.  It can generate about 1000 HP at sea level.  It came in second at Pike Peak and I think first in New Zealand.

And this one burns fuel (Nitro)! And is four wheel drive with coil overs in every corner

Looks like a Suzuki Aerio to me and not like the other radical Pike's Peak racer.

If you look at the Pike's Peak racer you'll notice that it says Grand Vitara on the rear side glass just like the R/C one doe's. You gotta look real close and you can just make out the G on top and the V on the bottom

You can use the Pikes Peak Vitara (Escudo) in Gran Turismo 3 for PlayStation 2.

And in Gran Turismo Concept (which is Japanese game only) you can play with GSX-R/4.  I'm hoping it will be in the North American version of Gran Turismo 4.  :)
