I'm a little concerned with driving my Tracker this winter with the mods. As you all know they get blow around in the wind and the locker makes it feel squirley on dry pavement. I have no experience with radial swampers in the snow and ice. I want to keep it out for winter to do snowy trail rides, but I really don't want to flip this thing.
I have driven everything from a Mustang - Z 28 - Bronco II - to a ZJ in Michigan snow. I'm in the lake affect area and we can get 6"s a day in and day out. The thing I'm concerned with is ice and wind, lots of that out in the sticks.
My Tracker needs a top and with what that, and a set of winter tires cost I can pickup some fwd beater. It just seems stupid to be storing a GN, Typhoon, and now a Tracker.
Any thoughts?

I run mine all year round with swampers and lockers and a lift. I wouldnt have it other way. I can say that you will want radial Swampers not Bias. Bias suck big time on the ice. Depending on which size and tread pattern you may want to have them siped by a local tire shop.

Thanks for the reply, they are radial swampers.
Maybe I'll get the top for sale a couple of pages back and give it a try.
I can't wait for deep snow!!! ;D ;D
