I was told that mid 80's Toyota axles will bolt right up in a samurai and are alot stronger than the factory suzuki axles. I was also told that there are adaptors you can buy to adapt the driveshafts to the suzuki T-case. I have already broken 3 driveshafts due to , too much torque. Does anybody know if this is true? And which years of toyota truck axles would work best?
Thanks

I can tell you that late 84's and 85's are the best because they have stronger axle tubes. and i don't think that they bolt right up, but i'm not sure.

they will not bolt right up but they arent that difficult to adapt. I (along with a freind) are attempting this on our zooks. I am also putting some in a sidekick. We may do some kind of tech article on it. I'll keep ya informed if we do.

Either way, can you please let me know how it went, and what had to be modified to allow them to work. If everything turns out ok, this will be my next project on my samurai.
Thanks
