Title: need new top, where?

My top has finally had it.  it's the original top on the car since new in 1995, so you can imagine how awful it is now at nearly 9 years old.  my top is the 2nd version with the zip-out windows. My questions are.....

who makes the best OEM replacment soft top out there these days? still Bestop?

where can i find the best prices on tracker/kick tops? not eBay.

and do they make soft tops for our cars with tinted windows like they do for Jeeps now?

I found an online source that has tops for $200
I'm on my 2nd top and need a new one now,
the second one was a bestop, I didn't think it
was that good of a fit, and the zipper was on
the wrong side from the factory top. (left/right
not inside/outside).

what the convertable needs is cast aluminum
or pot metal (carbs are made from pot metal)
rear corner hold downs, the stupid plastic ones
pull up when the top starts to shrink from time
and weather.

I wanted to make these but who would buy them,
I mean is there a market for this improvement?

I snagged a set from a newer Kick in the wrecking
yard, a little stronger, but not bullet proof.

I have a almost and i mean almost new top for a tracker/sidekick $80 dollars  it is a 91 tracker yeah i said $80?any takers? :o

I feel better now, I need a white one....goes better with light Blue.
The second top I got, I got in Grey, it matched the seats, but the
truck came with white when I bought it new. I'm going back to
white, I think it looks better.

I have a white bikini top, and I like the way it looks over the grey.



Any other takers?....sounds like a good deal.

See....that's the part that sucks.  I have the newer style top wit hthe zip out windows and i can't find the cheap anywhere.
