The big red things on the rear bumper are for the gas cans as in pic:

The small red thing is a latch.
Yeah, they are hooked to the frame:

They work really well. We are thinking about manufacturing them and selling them because no one makes any for the 4 doors. We just aren't sure about the mounting system. We drilled holes through the frame for ours. What do you guys think? Would you be interested in something like that?

I might be interested, however, the bumper is currently tack welded to the stock inner bumper. The upper tabs on the prerunner bumper were bent, that is why they are tack welded. They could be modified I am sure. I will have to take a grinder and cut the welds. You can see it is still attached in this pic:

I will have to take some closer pictures for you to make sure you are still interested in it :). Then, I will have to take it apart and find out how much it would be to ship it....  ;D (BTW... K/C lights are not included.... LOL)

I "think" it's 3 inches? It's standard RWD offset.

no way! I'd never give up a track/kick for a sammy (sorry all you sammy afficionados) I love the track/kicks too much. (even if they are harder to modify)
No, that's a buddy's. We were installing this stuff at his house. Here's a full pic out front of our house (not with the 35's that are on it currently, or the new rear bumper though):
