Title: Rancho 9000 Part number

I need the Rancho 9000 part number for a direct replacement shock to use on the Calmini 3" Sidekick lift.

I want to figure out the part # of those
kick |removethispart|@55 upside down shocks, you know
the ones with the shaft on the down side,
won't have to worry as much about clearance
with the shock mounts on the axle, when the
axle is rotated the mounts get turned even
farther under, causeing the shock body to
hit the shock mount on the axle, which
messes up the shock inside, now you
need new ones............. I'm rambling huh  ;D

Wild,

On Mikes over rotation mod, it shows how to modify the lower mount so it wont hit the axle. Ive done it on mine and it works great.

Oh it did??? I guess I need to go re-read that :-[
I got these extensions welded on the shock mount
so the body dont hit, but now they get fatigued and
break when I do the washboard roads at high speeds.

 "RAN 9168" is the part # It works good if you don't have your axle rotated to much. Allthough, it would fit Erics no problem since I recall he had his shock mounts extended on his axle.

Yeah, this post originally was done when I had IFS on the truck. I had spoke with Bill Henry during an Adventure Series run we  did last fall. He's running a 9000 Series shock on the rear and I was interested in getting that shock at that time and had forgot the numbers voiced during our campfire conversations.

Now, I have Full-Traction 9-way adjustables all the way around on the ol' SAS Kick. Which, by the way, ARE the next best thing since sliced bread.  :)

Yeah it's a brand. Full Traction is a Sister company to Calmini. Full Size and Jeep. visit    fulltraction.com
