How much $$??
Where to buy ???
-
ya i want to know too :)

bds-suspension.com/distributors.html
it was 520.00 of 550.00 in town.
???

Why ?
At that price I'd buy the calmini 2" you get more for your money.
-
you get new shocks, springs and struts and takes less than an hour to put in. No additional parts needed like calminis. Seeing to many front diffs broke from calmini. :)
-
trust me
its only the 3" calmini that breaks axles :'(
still i have just got hold of a steel front axle from a 2.5 v6 GV and front and rear lsd's from a vitara x-ec
as rare as rocking horse pooh ;D
should be the end of my worries
still ... i only broke 9 front axles to get this far :-/

Where did you get your info of the Calmini Kit breaking breaking Diffs ??? I drove the hell out of mine for over 4 years with their kit and never had a problem!!! The only thing that the lift has to do with it, is the fact that it allows you to install larger tires, that makes you want lower gearing and lockers, THEN you start breaking stuff, not because you installed a Calmini kit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think any one I have heard that has a negative comment of any sort, abiout Calmini always mentions how much easier the other kits are. The funny part of it is that most of the people that use these rides for trail rigs on a regular basis almost always use Calmini and like their products.
If you dont want to break it, keep it on the road,

:o
i have mates over here in the uk that have the 2" calmini kit and drive them hard and break nothing.
the 2" kit is a solid dependable unit
it is the 3" calmini kit that suffers with broken diff problems
if you look on mike hagens site even he tears lugs off the aluminium diffs. thats why he made the rear axle conversion into a front unit.
even with all the diffs and axles i have broken ... if somebody said ( which they do ) do i regret fitting the 3" calmini kit .... my answer is always NO.
also the terrain here in the UK is a lot different to the rocks and stuff the 3" was developed for .
for me at the time the 3" was the only kit to have as i have seen it work ... and it bloody works well.
i don't want to break it ... BUT i don't want to run it on the road either ... MY TRUCK ROCKS .... ;D

If only that were true. My front broke and I have a basic 2" spring lift, no Calmini parts at all. I also had the 4 bolt fixing on the diff cover rather than the 3 bolt fitted to some. It took over a year of hard offroading to break but it still broke. I think it has a lot more to do with the amount of grip. With no centre diff the wheels spin to prevent wind up. Fit grippier tyres and you get less spin and more stress - bang. I think the Calmini 3" kit is worse because the axle lowering brackets increase the leverage on the mountings. I'm looking for a steel axle now, I've a set of 5.83s sitting in the shed ready and I plan on lowering my front axle to allow for longer struts (I already have 2" strut spacers).
