After trying to turn bolt using a 24 inch breaker bar and twisting rubber bushing in half. We used a sawzall and sawed off the head, then replaced bolts. Of course we were replacing the bushings anyway with the Calmini 2 inch lift. Sorry, but the driver side bolt was impossible to remove on our truck.
maybe try some WD-40 over night.
Good Luck.

do you mean that both of the bolts would not come out? also i see you installed the bumper, on the top where they say to use the self tapping screws, did those work, because i even drilled a pilot hole and they striped right out. thanks

We got one side out, undamaged, we let it soak, overnight with liberal amounts of WD-40 applied every few hours. The otherside was frozen solid in the bushing and we ended up ripping the bushing trying to get it out and had to resort to the saw.

The self tappers never really worked. We ended up having to put some larger screws on there. However, whenever we gave the skid plate any abuse or took it over washboardy roads the screws would sometimes come out. Since we don't have our front bumper plastic cover attached, we just tack welded the tabs directly to the front bumper metal base. Problem solved for now. We will be getting rid of the bumper soon. We need more approach angle in the front.

When I installed my 3" lift I had to cut all but 2 of the a-arm/control arm bolts. No parts store had those sizes with the same shoulder length. I had to go to a dealer and buy them :-X expensive!!!
Hope things work out for you,
Later,
Bill
