Title: limited slip diff

I have a 89 escudo (sidekick) I was wondering if any models came out with a factory LSD, if so will it bolt on to my escudo or would mods be needed?

If you have the 10 bolt carrier for the 7.5 ring gear (which you should have with an '89 model), a factory LSD is available. The only people I know selling them in the US is Calmini. I believe it's a limited slip for a Samurai rear. There may be one, I think there is, for the 12-bolt carrier as well but I'm not sure. Give them a call.

I was going to put a LSD in the front
of my kick, but was told that they don't
really work as well as a locker.

I wanted the LSD to allow better turning
than with a locker in the front, but I think
the best solution is an air locker, a bit
pricey, but the best you can get, and
you will not be dissappointed with the
performance.
