Hum...the link don't work! :(
-
it work's for me :o
-
Yeah now they work!!!!!
Very clean ride!
Now 3" body-lift and 31"-32" tires?
-
MAN ISN'T IT AMAZING WHAT 3" OF LIFT WILL DO FOR THESE THINGS :P LOOKS SO GOOD LIKE THAT, YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE THIS FROM THE START ::) LOOKING GOOD :P KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK......HAPPY ZUKING! MATTY D. ;D

Do you have any vibration issues with those tires? I have the same type on my tracker and they vibrate like crazy above 65mph. I've had them balanced 5 different times already.
-
Bridgestones are some of the roundest tires on the road. Id be looking at those wheels or try a different shop to balance them.

I've had no vibrations from the tires, I had them up to 120k and they ride nice and smooth, and very quiet too. I've only had the lift, and tires on for a week now, and I haven't even had a chance to take it off road yet. But when driving it last week I did have a vibration when slowly accelerating from second gear, but that vibration is mostly gone now. I think the new parts are starting to settle in. I can't really give any good info until I've drivin it for a month or so, and had the chance to get it off road.
I will give an update in about a month to let folks know how the setup is treating me, but right now I'm thrilled do be driving it.
I'm finally in the in crowd :P

i see you still have the stock bumper with 3inch lift.what about all the stories of camber being way off with out the heavier winch bumper installed?any problems?kick looks real good.
-
The camber issue is there. Not so much when rolling forward, but if I back up to park it really shows. The springs will settle after awhile, I'm not sure exactly how much though. I'm debating on wether to do the anvil or a winch bumper, and winch. I don't want all the weight sitting upfront, there is nothing in the rear not even rear seats. I won't be doing anything other than wheel it this year, but next year I'll see what I get up to.
-
Id be sure to put the Anvil with the GV chunk first on the list. I know the bumper looks cool but not having a busted front diff is way cooler! ;D

JUST FOR SH*TS AND GIGGLES, WHAT SIZE TIRE WOULD FIT ON 4DR KICK WITH THE 2"SUSP. AND THE 3" BODY LIFT? IT WILL PROBABLY BE NEXT YEAR BEFORE I COULD THROW ON A HEAVY DUTY BUMPER, AND A BIT MORE BEFORE I COULD ADD A WINCH. OR IS THE 3" KIT THAT MUCH BETTER THAT I SHOULD GO WITH IT AND ADD SOME WEIGHT UP THERE SOME HOW, AND THE CAMBER ISSUE REALLY WONT BE THAT BAD? 31X10.50'S IS THE GOAL, JUST SOME FINAL THOUGHT BEFORE I SLURGE OUT THE $$$$ AGAIN WILL BE MOSTLY STREET DRIVEN WITH THE OCCASIONAL OFFROAD VENTURE, UNTIL BITTEN BY THE MUDBUG AGAIN ANYWAYS ::) THANKS...MATTY D. ;D
-
I'm not sure about the 4-door, but I fit 33's with alot of cutting with the same set up ;D I could of done 31's with little or no finder trimming in the front. The 3" kit will give you alot better off-road performance with a little rougher ride (without the additional weight), and most people I have heard bitching about the ride,(on other boards) usually re-posted a few weeks later commenting on how much better the ride was now that they gave it time to settle. If you are going to continue to use the ride mostly on road the 2" will give you a better ride, and you should be able to fit 31's with minimum trimming on the front finders.

WHAT SIZE TIRE WOULD FIT ON 4DR KICK WITH THE 2"SUSP. AND THE 3" BODY LIFT?  THANKS...MATTY D.  ;D
Matty,
On our 4 door, we ran the Calmini 2.5 inch suspension lift and a custom 2 inch body lift on 31x10.5x15 without problem,  They weren't on stock wheels though.  We purchased some American Racing black steel wheels that were 8 inches wide, with 2.75 inch, backspacing.
We trimmed the rear of the front fender just a bit to be sure that they wouldn't rub when clogged with mud and sticks when at full turn.
Some photos of the new tires and fender trimming can be seen here; http://www.whitepineclub.com/members/kd7hcg/pictures/31s/31s.html

go bigger then 31's I fit 31's with 3in body. Sure you have to do some triming but all you are really doing is reducing unneeded sheet metal hence heducing weigt and gaining more power ;D ;D
