Title: exterior  roll cage

hey i was just talkin to one of my friends and said thair wasn't enough room inside of my Tracker for a cage. He wants to built one on the exterior.  I have already made plans and drawing of what it would look like.  It will have a pre-runner style hoop in front for roll overs.  cover the rear seat like a famly style roll cage.  tie into the frame and build some rock rails to replace the rockers. what does every one think?  any more ideas.  thanks

FYI, there are many of us running full interior roll cages. So if that is what you want, it can be done.

Well,  i have never seen one with a exterior cage so i just think i would look so bad ass and give it that born to be beat look.   ;D  thanks for your comments

Exo is like cheating. Wheeling with out the risk of body damage... half the fun is looking like you rolled in in your street car and spanked them anyway.

Umm mine was pre rolled. My dad got it for me.( I got it on my B-day).  And it has more body damage.  i think it looks bad ass.  but i need a cage and my friends wants to put a full exo on it so, its cool with me.  but thanks for the advice

Some of the Tin Benders run exo rollcages, tho
with all the body damage I'm not sure why, might
be to hold their trucks together, after all most of
em are running Toyotas.  ::)

ya alot of the yota's i've seen that have the exo cage have been bobbed and have no beds.  most of them r made for rockcrawling.  but i think it looks sweet so i'm guna do it.   lata
