-
I got mine for $40 each 8x15 5.5 on 5
from 4 wheel parts . com

Rocky Road also offers custom backspaced wheels in a similar design, but the cost $50 each and who knows how much shipping would be! >:(

I got mine from a local tire shop (here called Les Schwab) for 33$ a piece.... :)

I got mine from Summit for about the same price as everyone else, but I don't think that I will be buying cheap rims anymore. Who every welded mine together did a really bad job. They wobble a whole lot because they are not straight. Any one else ever have this problem?
-
Negatory on the bent/crooked lousy weld job, the only reason my
wheel wobbles is a bent axle, I ripped up a 60 pound boulder
doing donuts in a wash down at Tiera Del Sol 2002, also blew
a 7 " gash in the sidewall of my 235x75 15 tires, glad it
wasn't one of the swampers, that would be a terrible
waste of rubber. :)

Yeah, most likely you got car wheels with, umm I'm guessing 3.75" back spacing.  Okay for some, but I'd go with 2.5" bs wheels, less trimming, won't risk(as much) damageing ifs components, and a wider stance. Worth the extra $$ IMO 8).

NOW SPEAKING OF WIDER STANCE! DOES ANY ONE RUN THOSE WHEEL SPACERS ??? AND WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS OF THEM ??? JUST CURIOUS ::)

'Way back in the olden days I used some thin ones (~ 1/4") on a Plymouth Satellite to keep the wheels from rubbing the upper ball joints. I had no problems, but I checked my wheel nuts every few weeks just to be sure.
Don, y'all
.

I just put some 1.25" spacers on my X-90 ;D I know it makes it look alot better :o If I have any problems out of it I'll let you know. Right now the only difference is some rubbing on the bumper cover when turning, but that will be fixed this weekend.

I use 1" spacers in the front and I have had no problems yet either, but I only have 4"s of offset on my rims.

If you're talking about the aluminum spacers that just slip over the studs, they have a nasty habit of letting the lugs back out and then damaging the wheels.  There are quality spacers out there (see spidertrax Calmini, Rocky Road and a bunch of other places carry them too)  that bolt over your existing studs and have their own studs built in.  These work great, but they cost about $100-120 a pair, so if you aren't in love with your current wheels, it's actually cheaper to go with a set of the steel rims.
-
The only problem with the wheel spacers is that if you have a sidekick and you widen the weelbase up fornt it will put more leverage on the sparings and might cause you some camber issues

It will also lower the front end because of that leverage...

OK SO WHAT I GET OUT OF POSTS IS THAT THE STEEL WHEEL WITH A 2.5 BACKSPACE WILL GIVE ME THE EFFECT THAT SPACERS ARE DESIGNED FOR..THERE FORE NO NEED FOR SPACERS....THANKS AGAIN
-
If you use a steel wheel with 2.5" bs and 31" tires and a 3" calmini body lift, you will need to trim very little from the fenders. Also you car will look like this:
