Title: Help plz!
Post by: brace on August 05, 2003, 09:42:36 AM
I own a mighty SJ410.  ;D It does 65-70mph in normal weather with little or no wind on factory size AT's.  Today on the way home from work it started stalling out when I slowed down and sputtered a little, it even slightly backfired; then, all of sudden it took off again.    I forgot to mention it was raining buckets.  Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Bryan

Sounds like you got some wires wet.  Try some WD40 on them it will drive the water out.  Just don't get it on the belts. Hope this is all it is.

I thought about rhino lining the distributor, coil and wires as precaution first. :P Wasn't raining this morning but the drive home tonight is supposed to be another soaker.  I'll tell ya if the WD40 works.  Thanks, Bryan
