mike i have got a picture of the winch plate that is fastened to the front of my truck. all i do if i want the winch on the back of the truck is unhitch it and connect it to the rear hitch

A couple guys I know mounted a reciver behind the original bumper. Then they can slide in the winch and plug it in. When they are not using it it goes in another hitch they mounted inside behind the rear seat. Then they keep it clean, good aproach angle, and better weight distribution. Fact is thats what I did before Calmini came out with there new winch bumper. When I saw it I knew I had to have it. ;) The only downside to having the reciver mount is Haveing to do all that dinking around. Having it handy on the front is soo nice. If theft was an issue like for you Id go back to the reciver though.

I made custom hitches front and rear on my Tracker and it only took me 2 weekends. but i feel kinda silly cuz i have the winch but haven't made the winch crattle yet. ya i'm lazy. but buzy too.
