;D A group of Suzuki's will be running the Naches trail November 6th and 7th. This event is called 'Butt-Stomper' (check the archive list on this website- we did a Butt-Stomper run a couple of years ago-this will give you some insight on what happens)
We will be meeting where the pavement ends on Forest Service Rd 70. Leaving for the trail at 7 am. We will be doing as much trail as possible, stopping only when we have to.
You should be self sufficient (spare parts, food, tools, camping equip. etc.....). We may camp on the trail, in a cabin, or at a campground.
This is not a 'hardcore' run but not an easy run either. The goal is to get a group of guys together and go wheeling! There are great views if the weather is good. The trails are real fun when there is some rain or a blast with snow. 8)
This trail is located in Washington. 3-4 hours north of Portland and 2-3 hours south of Seattle ???. If you would like to attend please email me at twodogsink|removethispart|@netzero.com :D

:-/NOTICE...................CHANGE OF DATES...........
THE BUTT-STOMPER RUN WILL BE HELD THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND..........NOVEMBER 13 and 14th.
-
Will you be spitting back out on Forest Service Rd 70 or somewhere else? Just wondering for those of us who trailer.
-
Most likely. Last year they closed the pass before we had a chance to cross. There are a number of spots to leave your tow rig and trailer.
How many in your group?
-
I usually run with two other Suzuki's, I'll see if they are up for it. The previous date interfeared with an Evans Creek run on the 6th, but I may be able to make this one.
-
The earlier date was the last weekend for Elk. Not sure I wanted be there.

No you don't want to be there then. It's a freaking zoo. Peaple everywhere >:( It feels like a damn jambo weekend. Which pass were you talking about being closed. If it is pyramid, there are "snomobile" trails around the gates. My sammy was fun to get around the gate closest to Little Naches ;D

Hwy 410 pass was closed. Came back via the forest service roads. Was a lot of fun. Passed a couple of fullsize Fords that were stuck.
Most likely will come back the same way. Not many in the group want to make the haul over the pass in their Zuks.
-
So now the trip includes going over the pass via Service Roads? This is sounding like it could be fun... ;D
-
We start out on FS road 70 and make our way to the big town of Cliffdel. From there it is a surprise. 8)
