Title: Haspin Acres
Post by: firemothjoe on July 08, 2004, 08:45:12 AM
Well I had to forgo the 6hr drive to Gonezukin because my Job gave me a special assignment for the summer. (Stupid work!) But..... I finally found a 4x4 campground/park within driving range.  Its called Haspin Acres in Indiana.  Has enyone from the OH KY IN area been out there at all?  The website looks awsome http://www.motocrosspark.com/home.html

I'm gonna try to get out there and check things out in a week or so.

January huh?  Off road and campin in the snow!  Its pretty cool that the place is open 24-7 365!

After looking at the pictures, I'm seeing a lot of hardcore 4x4's laying on their side in 2 feet of mud!...  I'm just gonna stick to the stockie trails untill I get some experience.  It looks like my GPS and CB will come in hady out there since the place is said to have 100's of miles of trails.

I live about 30 minutes away!! You can basically do anything you want. One of the best hillclimbs is the Devils Backbone, steep and rocky!! If you go again let me know..

Later,
Bill

Hey guys! Unless the weather is absolutley horrible- (which it's lookin pretty good at this point) I'm gonna head out there and stay satuday night (July31st) with a buddy of mine.

Another zuke to blaze around with would be awsome!  Especially if I need rescued!  We should be there by noon EST.  Just holler on CB ch19 for Joe.  Perhaps we'll meet up.
