Sorry for not explaining this event. Years ago they used to drain Foster Resivior and open it for one day of muddin. It got too popular and the envirementalists decided we dident need to be tearing up the bottom of the lake I guess. A local resident of Foster, Oregon has let the Santiam 4X4 Club use his land for a Mountain Mud Fest and they sell tickets fist come first serv. I have tried you years to get tickets with no luck. I finally got tickets and was wondering if other Zuk people will be there.

I quit goin' years ago when they started charging to get in. It's just not the same. It used to be a no-holds-bar free for all and now it's just rules, regs, security, port-a-potties, no camping, and no beer. Not that I advocate DUII, but it is nice to be able to crack open a cold one when the wheelin's done.

Way back when, I used to go to the Foster lake mud run, I used to take a keg in the back of my pick-up. I also took the bar-b-que, and really, just made my rig base. But, I too gave up on it when the got too organized. I was really ticked the year they sold tickets through ticket master. Now the folks who actually started the event can't even get tickets...it sad really.
Between my wife and I we've been going since the mid seventies, but I have'nt been back since it left the lake.
have fun Glenn,
